La: Former National football league star Junior Seau died on Wednesday of the suspected shooting suicide at his home in California.

The 43-year-old shot themself at his beach home near North Park, based on the TMZ celebrity news website, as the North Park Battery chargers, his former team, voiced shock at "the passing of Junior Seau."

"Everybody in the Battery chargers is within complete shock and disbelief at this time. We request everybody to prevent what they are doing and send their hopes to Junior and the family," it stated inside a brief statement
