The NHL declined the Boston Bruins' four-year, $12 million contract extension with Chris Kelly, based on various reviews.

The Bruins expect the offer to undergo when Kelly becomes an unrestricted free agent on This summer 1.

"We have have a commitment from Kelly for 4 years,Inch Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli told local reporters on Wednesday. "We are unable to register that contract yet due to payroll marking issues."

The veteran forward carried out with work-high 20 goals and 19 assists in 82 games for that Bruins this year.
