Blue Jays third baseman Brett Lawrie has company. Add Philadelphia Phillies manager Charlie Manuel and umpire Bob Davidson towards the suspended list.

Manuel was suspended to have an on-area incident with umpire Bob Davidson, who had been also suspended, in Tuesday's 4-3 win from the Houston Astros.

Manuel assists the suspension in tonight's game from the Boston Red-colored Sox at People Bank Park.

In the top eighth inning, Manuel contended Davidson blocked catcher John Schneider's make an effort to retrieve a dropped third strike that permitted Jason Castro to achieve first base. Manuel was thrown following a couple of words in the bench.

Davidson received a 1-game suspension for his repeated violations from the Office from the Commissioner's standards for situation handling.

He'll serve his suspension today, missing the Minnesota Twins' interleague game at Milwaukee.
Based on Sports Highlighted, Davidson was rated 4th on the players' poll of worst umpires this past year.
